There’s been a lot of discussion about the lack of women on music festival line-ups lately and Laura Marling has added to the discourse by launching a podcast that looks into the gender imbalance in recording studios.

The celebrated British singer-songwriter has launched a new series of podcast called Reversal of the Muse that, in her own words, aims to “establish why there is a real lack of female presence in the recording studio and to discuss whether it makes any difference to the final outcome of the recordings.” Reversal of the Muse seeks to uncover the challenges posed in a male-dominated music industry and to dispel myths about female creativity.
