The British band is all set to embark on their very first tour of the subcontinent and they are doing it all for the good cause of sustainable drinking water
Not to get you too excited, but two members of the legendary band, Dire Straits, will be performing in India soon. While neither one of them is Mark Knopfler, Chris White and Chris Whitten, are both original members of the band and give you an unforgettable musical experience. They will be performing at the 100 Pipers, Play for a Cause initiative and Be Remembered for good concert organised to support the cause of providing sustainable drinking water to villagers in Rajasthan.
They will reportedly perform some of Dire Straits’ biggest hits including, Sultans of Swing, Tunnel of Love, Money for Nothing and Brothers in Arms etc. The concert dates are March 17 and 19 for Gurugram and Bengaluru respectively.
