Chuski Pop Is The Podcast Every Girl Needs To Hear

Read Time: < 1 minute

The Podcast starring, Sweety and Pappu, two desi girls taking charge of the brown girl narrative is all kinds of feminist goals, says Neha Pant

We admit it, we’re terribly late to this party but now that we have finally heard it through, we can tell you that we can’t stop raving about. Chuski Pop, is the podcast that is relatable like nothing else that we have heard online. Hosted by two brown women who go by the name’s Sweety and Pappu, who in their own words are, “two desi girls riding the fourth wave of feminism in our salwar kameez and golden heels, while flipping the bird to uncles and aunties.” This description is what sums up the essence of this podcast that deals with the issues that plague a brown woman as she navigates the world—sex, drugs, existential crisis, these girls dish out dope on each subject fearlessly.

Pappu and Sweety are obvious pseudonyms that the duo have adopted in order to protect their privacy, considering some of the topics that they cover are pretty risqué.

Give them a listen.
