sbcltr recommends the exhibit at the IGNCA for its take on mythology

Thirty three-year-old visual artist and filmmaker Charuvi Agrawal, in association with Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts (IGNCA) has organised an exhibition titled, Hanuman: Images Beyond Imagination, which re-imagines the mythological hero and his representations through installations, film and painting. The show is interesting solely for its contemporary take on the popular mythological figure, Hanuman and is centered around a award winning animated short film Shri Hanuman Chalisa. A 25 feet sculpture titled, 26,000 Bells Of Light, painted Kavads, paintings, each piece made using mixed media in a contemporary avatar are on display till the 30th of April.
